Preserve Your Parent's Voice

I create documentary-style interviews that preserve your parent’s voice, personality, and stories for generations to come.

- Mississippi Filmmaker Jamin Danyus -

What's a Legacy Video?

A Legacy Video captures someone’s voice, personality, and stories in their own words.

Through a relaxed, documentary-style interview, I preserve this moment of sitting next to a special person as they share their life lessons and experiences, enhanced with family photographs, on-screen text, and music.

The result is something your family can watch, share, and pass down for generations.

About the Filmmaker

Jamin Danyus, Founder/Filmmaker

I am a Mississippi filmmaker passionate about family history since I was a child. Whether it was listening to my father tell stories from his childhood or watching my grandfather research our family tree, it ignited a strong desire to know more about the stories that connect me to the people who came before me.

Filming family interviews and even creating YouTube videos that highlight Mississippians, has shown me that some of the best moments often come when the conversation takes an unexpected turn.

Every time I sit down to interview someone, I revert back to that boy listening inquisitively to his grandfather talking about how things used to be, or the first time he met the love of his life.

Every life story is precious, even if its owner may not recognize its value. How privileged we are to be able to capture these stories on video, to be revisited and shared with the next generation.
